Prescription for Pennsylvania
This past January, the Governor’s Office of Healthcare Reform revealed its “Prescription for Pennsylvania.” The plan aims to expand access to affordable health care coverage for the state’s 767,000 uninsured residents, improve the overall quality of care in the state, and keep health care costs under control for employers and employees.
The real question for consumers is: What does this mean for you? How will your care change? What will the new system look like? Who is going to pay for all this expanded care and better coverage? Here’s your chance to ask.
Send your questions to PhillyHealthInfo.org and we’ll do our best to get them answered at a May 21st forum at the College of Physicians of Philadelphia. After the forum, we’ll post the questions asked and the given answers on our site. To attend the forum and listen for yourself, click here.
