National Night Out Event - Gospel-Rama
August 05 (5:30pm)

The Safe Haven Committee of the Philadelphia Weed and Seed Project is sponsoring its 9th Annual “Gospel-Rama” as part of National Night Out activities on Tuesday, August 5, 2008. National Night Out is an event designed to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness, generate support for and participation in local anti-crime efforts, strengthen neighborhood spirit and communicate a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organizing and fighting back. This year events will be held at two locations: 1) Muhammad Park - 47th and Lancaster Avenue and 2) 54th and Berks Street in Wynnefield. We are working towards making both sites an exciting, memorable and successful gathering. The National Night Out Event is a community wide block party that includes gospel singing, information tables, activities for children, refreshments and more. If you have any questions, need more information or would like to participate in this annual event, kindly contact Dawn D. Crawford at 215.477.7747 or dawndcrawford@hotmail.com.
