Pennsylvania Department of Aging
Charged by the Older Americans Act and the Pennsylvania General Assembly, the Pennsylvania Department of Aging is an advocate for the interests of older Pennsylvanians at all levels of government. The department oversees many services and benefits to older Pennsylvanians - most provided through the 52 Area Agencies on Aging which were created in the federal Older Americans Act and Pennsylvanias Act 70. The department also works hand-in-hand with the Governors Office and the General Assembly on legislation affording older persons a quality way of life.
