- COLOURS was established in 1991 to respond to the lack of positive and progressive educational, advocacy, and support mechanisms for sexual minority people of color in the greater Philadelphia area. A major focus of is the prevention of HIV transmission among African American Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) and the provision of adequate medical and social services for those living with HIV disease.
