The Bucks County Area Agency on Aging advises seniors that extreme hot weather can cause serious heat-related illnesses such as heat stroke or heat exhaustion.

HeatLine – Philadelphia Corporation for Aging

PCA's HeatLine, 215-765-9040, is a non-emergency telephone service that provides callers of all ages with information about taking precautions against the heat and detecting signs of heat stress. HeatLine staff provide information about senior community centers' expanded hours, recommended air-conditioned locations, and year-round senior services.
