Arthritis

imageArthritis is the term used to describe the more than 100 conditions that affect the joints.  Over 66 million Americans live with these conditions, many of which go undiagnosed for years.  For millions of people arthritis can affect their ability to perform simple tasks such as walking, dressing, or bathing.  As arthritis becomes more advanced, pain and limited motion in the joints can cause severe disability. The most commonly affected joints are the hands, fingers, wrists, knees, hips, and back. Currently, there is no cure for arthritis, but several different medications can relieve many of the symptoms.  To get answers to all your Arthritis questions, visit our list of Recommended Sites.
