Bereavement

imageBereavement, often called grief, is what someone goes through after the loss of a loved one.  Grief is usually both physical and emotional.  Crying is a common physical part of grief.  There are a variety of emotions associated with bereavement including anger, sadness, denial and guilt.  It’s important to remember that these feelings are normal. With time, the pain will ease and eventually life will go on.  Ignoring your feelings, on the other hand, could lead to lasting mental or physical illness.  Being patient and seeking out caring people are among the keys to healing the wounds caused by loss.
