Bipolar Disorder

imageBipolar disorder is a serious mental illness that affects more than 2 million Americans. The condition causes violent mood swings. These mood swings may destroy the lives of individuals with the condition as well as the lives of their loved ones. Sometimes a person with bipolar disorder will be happy, full of energy and feel that he/she could conquer the world. This feeling is known as mania. At other times, a person with bipolar disorder will feel very depressed. People with bipolar disorder may go from mania to depression over and over again. For this reason, the condition is sometimes called manic-depression.  To get answers to all your bipolar disorder questions, visit our list of Recommended Sites.
