Ovarian Cancer
Almost 25,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer every year in the United States. Ovarian cancer is cancer that starts in the ovaries. In women, the ovaries produce eggs for reproduction, as well as female sex hormones like estrogen. Unfortunately, ovarian cancer is difficult to detect at an early stage, so treatment can be difficult and survival rates aren’t as high as with other cancers. The good news is that the number of women diagnosed with ovarian cancer has decreased over the past decade. To get answers to all your ovarian cancer questions, visit our list of Recommended Sites.
