Understanding sexuality means more than just knowing about the risks and joys of sex. Sexuality involves knowing about your body and how it works. It includes understanding gender and the differences between men and women. It also involves sexual orientation and whether or not you or someone you know or love is straight or gay. And, possibly most of all, it means understanding different people’s values, beliefs, and emotions.
