Smoking

imageDespite the obvious dangers of smoking, the statistics are frightening.  Over 36,000 Pennsylvanians below the age of 18 become smokers every year.  They join the 2.3 million adult Pennsylvanians who already smoke.  That means that twenty five percent of our adult population is putting themselves at a greater risk for cancer, heart attack, and stroke every single day.  To get answers to all your smoking questions, visit our list of Recommended Sites

Luckily, there are also 2 million Pennsylvanians who have already quit smoking.  You can join them.  PhillyHealthInfo.org is here to help you find smoking cessation classes and support groups in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, or Philadelphia County. Our health services list in the blue box on the right side of the page is a good place to start.
