Unnatural Causes: Is Inequality Making Us Sick? is a seven-part television series that talks about the social, racial, and economic unfairness that leads to poor health. Unnatural Causes first aired March 27, 2008 - April 17, 2008 on PBS (Public Broadcasting Service).

On May 22, 2008, Philadelphia Department of Public Health and PhillyHealthInfo.org held an “Unnatural Causes” Town Hall meeting at The College of Physicians of Philadelphia. The goal of this meeting was to make people aware of the unnatural causes that lead to poor health and allow for people and organizations in the community to work together.
